Amika spent time with her cousins. They thought it was great. Except when she was pulling Lilly's hair. We celebrated Lilly's 5th Birthday. On the day she turned 5 she told her mother that her clothes fit better. Grandma and Amika played Peek-a-Boo with the blanket. Sam (another cousin) posed with the birthday balloon for a great picture.

We met up with my girlfriend Patti and her family. Chloe and Amika are only 10 days apart. I'm not sure what I did to make Chloe cry...but I still look good.

Amika and family attended the Dilworth LocoDaze Parade. That parade was an hour long and only had TWO garbage trucks. I was kind of disappointed. WE did manage to score a hot dog however. Yes, this parade gives out hot dogs.

We had a wonderful belly-laughing time. The cousins made up a great new song which you will hear this Christmas on the family video. The performance was taped live on the pontoon. Seriously folks, this was history in the making.

I just wish I didn't have school so we could have spent more time together. Oh well, we have next year. :-) I can't wait until then.

My First Parade

Amika's first parade was the Pelican Rapids Turkey Days Parade. WHOHOOO! I've been told by several people however, that the Dilworth Loco Days Parade is much better. I'm going to wait and see.

one HAIL of a storm

We were awoken to a monstrous pitter patter on the roof. The hail turned both our pontoon lights on and the neighbors. WOW! Check out the size of that frozen rain. Insurance people will be busy. Good thing Dad wasn't going to finish the roof until tomorrow from the last storm.
