Tournament Pick'em Time

The only way Joel can keep me entertained during March Madness is to add some gambling. No, I do not have the Ducks in the final four.

Birth Mom is AWOL. Baby is in foster care. That is good news. I guess mom is a bit unstable. It's also possible that she changed her mind. SO, we are in limbo.

So we WAIT!

(sigh) The appointment with the birth mom is set for Wednesday. I got some more information on the baby as far as medical. Things are looking good. He was born 12/06/06. Keep those fingers crossed and prayers coming. :-)

UGH! Blizzard

Something about a silly little BLIZZARD! Social Worker re-scheduled meeting for early next week. Plan is MOM make's a decision, terminates rights, child is placed late in the week. SO, back to waiting.

50/50 CHANCE!!!!

I'm trying not to get TOO excited. HOWEVER, we are one of TWO familes a birth mother has chosen. The mother has a 3 month old boy. She decided it was just too much work. The baby is healthy. She meets with her social worker tomorrow to make a final decision. (cross your fingers) If we are chosen. (pray hard if this is supposed to happen) NEXT WEEK we will have a baby in the home. YES! It could be that fast!!!

Also, we were asked to send more of our profiles to the cities. So, that must mean people are looking. I made 10 copies a year ago.
